The American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), in order to certify and provide professional speech and hearing services, requires a master’s degree in communication disorders. WTAMU’s Communication Disorders Program is nationally accredited through ASHA.

NOTES: Students may opt to use summers or intersessions to fulfill core curriculum requirements. Fifty-eight hours of communiction disorders courses count toward a degree.
