Education Major Requirements

A. Major-Specific University Core Requirements

This program requires no specific courses from the University Core Curriculum.

B. Professional Development (21 hours)

A grade of “C” or better and a 2.75 GPA is required in the Professional Development section.

C. Teaching Field (55 or 56 hours)

A grade of “C” or better and a 2.75 GPA (Major-Specific University Core Requirements and Teaching Field sections combined) is required.

Nine hours (at least three advanced) from:

A student must complete a minimum of 120 credit hours, which includes at least 36 advanced hours taken at WTAMU.
