A grade of “C” or better and a 2.75 overall GPA (WT and transfer) is required.

Note: Two credit hours for each of four semesters


  • MUAP 10XX required for Instrumental Option (8 hours)
  • MUAP 1069  required for Keyboard Option (8 hours)
  • MUAP 1081  required for Voice Option (8 hours)

Advanced Applied Music Requirements (6 hours)


Note: Two credit hours for each of three semesters


  • MUAP 30XX required for Instrumental Option (6 hours)
  • MUAP 3069  required for Keyboard Option (6 hours)
  • MUAP 3081  required for Voice Option (6 hours)

Senior Recital (0 hours)


Note: Required in the final semester of MUAP study


  • MUAP 4094  required for Instrumental, Keyboard and Voice emphases (0 hours)

Seven semester hours major ensemble (three hour advanced)
