Take one of the following courses. The extra hour from 4-hour options will be counted towards Component Area Option (Core 90).

Core 30 - Life and Physical Sciences (6 hours)

Take one of the following sets of courses. Lab hours will count towards Component Area Option (Core 90).

PHYS 1401 - General Physics I (HAZ) 4 and
PHYS 1402 - General Physics II (HAZ) 4
or
PHYS 2425 - Calculus Physics I (HAZ) 4 and
PHYS 2426 - Calculus Physics II (HAZ) 4

Core 90 - Component Area Option (6 hours)

ENGL 1302 - Academic Writing and Research 3
or ENGL 2311 - Introduction to Professional and Technical Communication 3
Lab hours from PHYS 1401 and PHYS 1402 or PHYS 2425 and PHYS 2426
IDS 1071 (or fourth hour from MATH 2413 )

Mathematics Requirements (35-39 hours)

A grade of “C” or better and a 2.75 combined GPA is required for Mathematics, Other Degree, and Supporting Area requirements below.

A grade of “C” or better and a 2.75 GPA is required in Education Requirements.

Total hours required to complete degree: 120 hours

A student must complete a minimum of 120 credit hours to include at least 36 advanced hours.
