Prerequisite: permission of instructor for non-nursing majors. Explores fundamental conditions and resources for health, such as education, nutrition, physical activity, stress management, shelter, a stable ecosystem, peace and social justice with respect to self-care and the care of others. Includes health promotion with regard to wellness, acute illness and chronic illness across the lifespan.
