SOCI 4323 - Social Movements and Social Change

This course explores sociological concepts, theoretical questions of social justice, and how social movements emerge, who joins them, the effect of various tactics, and the factors that contribute to a movement’s success or demise. Some U.S. social movements from the 1950s through present will be analyzed.
