Post MSN Certificate Program for Nurse Educator

A 15-hour plan of graduate study leading to completion of a post graduate certificate program that will increase the number of nurse educators and will lay the foundation for national certification as a nurse educator.
|
Pre-requisite to admission
- Master’s degree in nursing.
- completed graduate level coursework in Pathophysiology, Advanced Physical Assessment, and Pharmacotherapeutics with a grade of “B” or higher. These courses are required by the Texas Board of Nursing in order to teach these topics in undergraduate schools of nursing.
Elective (3 hours)
3 hour elective (5000 or 6000 level) to support teaching role. |
