Graduation Requirements
All MCOM majors will compile an e-portfolio that demonstrates the student’s competencies in at least six of the following eight categories: leadership, mass media production, media covergence, written communication, cultural influences, theoretical perspectives, professional and civic responsibilities, and media management.
The e-portfolio must be submitted for review early in the semester the student plans to graduate. The student must receive a score of 3 or higher on each section of the portfolio to be certified for graduation. Portions of the portfolio will be presented as part of MCOM capstone courses,
New Media or another designated senior level course.
