A Certificate in Companion Animal Studies is an undergraduate interdisciplinary studies certificate designed to provide students with science-based knowledge of and experience with companion animals. Students will complete the program with a better understanding of companion animal care and management, behavior and physiology, and their contributions to the animal/human community.

Notes:
Internship experience with emphasis in companion animals, specifically at a small animal veterinary clinic, animal shelter, boarding or training facility, breeding operation, animal-assisted therapy program, pet food and supply stores. Other courses may be approved by Director of Companion Animal Studies. |
