(Pre-Pharmacy Specialization Code: PPHM)

WTAMU provides a pre-pharmacy specialization for students interested in pursuing a career as a pharmacist. Students making application to pharmacy schools should have completed at least two full academic years of pre-pharmacy education, with the majority of students having completed three or more years of undergraduate college experience, specifically a B.S., prior to applying to PHARMD programs. Prerequisite courses will vary somewhat, based on the curriculum offered at the various schools. Students considering this major should consult with the pre-pharmacy adviser for information regarding various schools and their particular requirements.
