Forensic Science

Students planning careers in forensic science should consider a Biology major in the Department of Life, Earth and Environmental Sciences or a Biochemistry major in the Department of Chemistry and Physics with a Criminal Justice minor. The following courses are recommended for the minor:

CRIJ 1301 - Introduction to Criminal Justice 3
CRIJ 1306 - Court Systems and Practices 3
CRIJ 3322 - Advanced Criminal Investigation 3
CRIJ 3374 - Victimology 3
CRIJ 4340 - Advanced Criminal Procedure 3
