University Core Curriculum Requirements


Refer to the “University Core Curriculum ” section of this catalog. Students must take the following courses.

From Mathematics - Code 20 (3 hours)


From Social and Behavioral Sciences - Code 80 (3 hours)


18 semester hours of advanced economics electives


15 semester hours of additional course work with prior approval of adviser


These courses should be in harmony with the student’s area of interest.

Other Requirements


B.S. Degree


- in addition to the core curriculum a minimum of 6 hours as follows:

  • Six hours chosen from biology, chemistry, geology, geosciences, mathematics, physics and natural sciences.

B.A. Degree


- in addition to the core curriculum, a minimum of 12 hours as follows:

  • Six semester hours of foreign language.
  • Six semester hours chosen from art, English, history, modern languages, music, philosophy and theatre.

Note:


Additional electives to total 120 hours.
