B.B.A. Degree Requirements
Business core. (See the B.B.A. core, in the “Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) Degree Core Requirements” section of this catalog.)
The B.B.A. degree in Economics has two distinct concentrations: economics and law and economics.
- The economics major prepares graduates for a wide range of entry-level positions in business, nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, and private consulting. The major provides an intellectual foundation for the appreciation and understanding of economic theory and policy that stresses the importance of imaginative thinking, free inquiry and the pursuit of life-long learning.
- The economics major with a concentration in law and economics combines the two disciplines, striving for the integration of both legal and economic knowledge. The objective is to provide an economic and legal knowledge foundation for students who are interested in attending law school or pursuing careers in business management that require a familiarity with applied legal issues.
Economics requirements:
