Prerequisite: BIOL 1406  and BIOL 1407  or BIOL 1411  and BIOL 1413 ; BIOL 3301  or BIOL 3303 . Understanding structure and functions of various types of cells, gene expression, cancer biology and biotechnology. Techniques to prepare slides from bacteria, blood, cells, chromosomes and fungi. Course fee $15. May intersession.
