ARTS 2377 - Digital Art I 3 2 4 Prerequisite(s): Art majors must complete the following courses prior to taking the course: ARTS 1311 , ARTS 1312 , ARTS 1316 , and ARTS 1317 . Non-majors must complete the following courses prior to taking the course: ARTS 3321 and ARTS 3381 . Or consent of instructor. Introduction to digital art. Exploring use of digital technology as a tool for both studio art and graphic design. The fall semester focuses on various photo and video editing software, like Adobe Premier/Photoshop/Fresco software and the spring semester focuses on the use of bit-mapped and vector-based drawing programs like Adobe Illustrator. Both semesters also introduce the integration of all programs of the Adobe Creative Suite. May be repeated once for a maximum of six credit hours.
