Prerequisite(s): Lab Safety Training required. Introduction to the basics of photography. Exploring uses of the digital camera, as well as print, negative and slide scanning, appropriate software applications and output methods. Includes camera operation, techniques, knowledge of chemical photography vocabulary, and presentation skills. Emphasis on design, history, and contemporary trends as a means of developing an understanding of photographic aesthetics.
