Prerequisite(s): MATH 1316  or MATH 2412  or ACT score of 27 or SAT score of 620 or above on math section. Introduction of the foundations of discrete mathematics as they apply to computer science, focusing on providing a solid theoretical foundation for further work. Topics include functions, relations, sets, simple proof techniques, Boolean algebra, propositional logic, digital logic, elementary number theory and the fundamentals of counting.
