The Pre-Medicine specialization (PMED) is a specialization for students who plan to apply to medical school. The suggested courses consist of science (biology, chemistry, physics, and math) and non-science courses that together satisfy the admission requirements for medical schools. Although completion of the Pre-Medicine specialization alone may meet admission requirements, students are strongly encouraged to consider completing a B.S. in conjunction with the Pre-Medicine specialization. Pre-professional requirements vary between medical schools.
