Note:


Students are advised to complete the University Core Curriculum during their first two years of classes.

Graduation Requirements


All students in a media communication program will compile an e-portfolio that demonstrates the student’s competencies in at least five of the following eight categories:

  • Leadership
  • Mass Media Production
  • Media Convergence
  • Written Communication
  • Cultural Influences
  • Theoretical Perspectives
  • Professional and Civic Responsibilities
  • Media Management

The e-portfolio must be submitted for review in the required internship classs. The student must receive a score of 3 or higher on each section of the portfolio to be certified for graduation.
