WTAMU provides a pre-veterinary medicine specialization for students interested in pursuing a career as a veterinarian. Most students pursue a B.S. in Animal Science or Biology, but pre-professional requirements may be completed while pursuing any B.S. Admissions requirements vary for particular schools of veterinary medicine. Students should consult with pre-vet advisers for proper course selection and preparedness for vet school application.
