The fourth hour from MATH 2412 (if taken) will be counted towards Component Area Option (Code 90).

From Life and Physical Sciences - Code 30 (6 hours)

Lab hours will be counted towards Component Area Option (Code 90).

Biology Electives

Take six biology courses (2000, 3000 or 4000 level) of which five must include laboratories.

GEOL 1404 - Historical Geology 4

MATH 1316 - Plane Trigonometry 3 or
MATH 1342 - Elementary Statistical Methods 3 or

Advanced Electives

Additional advanced hours to provide a minimum of 36 hours selected from biology, chemistry, biotechnology, environmental science, geology, geosciences, mathematics or physics.

Note: Advanced hours taken for Biology Electives count toward these 36 hours.

Take additional hours (if needed) to provide a total of 120 hours.
