The public administration minor provides students with the core skills necessary to perform administrative functions in the public and non-profit sectors. These skills include learning and applying theories and core concepts in public finance, personnel, management and leadership, policy analysis and formulation, and public-government interaction. State and municipal governments and non-profit organizations need employees who excel at these skills to lead their organizations. Students who minor in public administration will be equipped to meet these needs.

		To obtain a minor in Public Administration, a student must earn a total of 18 hours in political science or public administration from the following:

 Students may apply up to 9 credit hours of course work from POSC, CRIJ, and EMA majors towards the minor with faculty approval.  													 |
