Fourth hour from MATH 2412 or MATH 2413 will count towards Component Area Option (Code 90).

39 semester hours, including:

PSYC 2301 - General Psychology 3 (required for University Core Code 80)
PSYC 2272 - Professional Psychology: Careers, Ethics and Research Methodology 2
PSYC 2308 - Child Development 3 or
PSYC 2314 - Lifespan Growth and Development 3
PSYC 3310 - Introduction to Statistics 3
PSYC 3311 - Experimental Psychology 3
PSYC 4360 - Abnormal Psychology 3 or
PSYC 4355 - Theories of Personality 3

Three courses from:

Nine to ten hours of psychology electives, nine of which must be advanced.

Additional requirement:

B.A. or B.S. Requirements (6-12 hours)

Electives

Take additional electives as needed to total 39 hours of advanced work (3000- or 4000-level courses) from WTAMU and 120 hours overall.

Prerequisite for Advanced Psychology Classes

PSYC 2301 is the prerequisite for all advanced (3000- and 4000-level) courses except PSYC 3310 .
