 (Major Code: 302) The general business major allows students to customize their major based on their career interest. Students select 27 hours from any of the College of Business disciplines. The result is a generalist degree that prepares students for either their own entrepreneurial pursuits or the corporate world.University Core Curriculum Requirements

General Business Core Requirements

 For this major, students need 27 hours from the following subject areas:  Accounting (ACCT)Business (BUSI)Computer Information Systems (CIDM)Economics (ECON)Finance (FIN)Management (MGT)Marketing (MKT) At least 21 hours must be upper-level with a maximum of 12 hours in each discipline. Students earning a General Business degree are allowed to earn only one minor from the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business.Additional electives to total 120 hours
