Six semester hours of major ensemble. A minimum of three semesters of lower-division, and the remaining semesters must be upper-division.
Other Requirements
A minimum of eight semester of major ensemble are required; enrollment in major ensemble is required in every semester for which the student is enrolled in 9 or more hours.
Recital, concert, weekly seminar and departmental meeting attendance.
Capstone recital project before graduation: This recital will feature the student’s composition portfolio performed by the composer and/or other soloists or ensembles.
Effective non-music hours to meet minimum requirement of 40 hours outside major.
