University Core Curriculum Requirements

A student electing this major must complete the following 54-hour program from among anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology and sociology:

18 semester hours in each of two social sciences

Nine semester hours in each of two additional social sciences

Note:

No one-semester-hour courses may be counted toward the above requirements. Students following this program shall have as their major adviser the head of the department in which they elect to meet one of the 18-semester-hour requirements noted above.
