The Department of Art, Theatre and Dance offers baccalaureate majors in art, art education, studio art, graphic design, dance, theatre, musical theatre and theatre education. In addition, post-baccalaureate work in art leads to master of arts and master of fine arts degrees. The master of fine arts degree with a studio major is the required degree for teaching art on the college/university level.
Graduates of these various degrees are employed across the United States as designers, teachers, actors, technicians, dancers, performing artists and exhibiting artists.
