EDLD 6308 - Service Learning in Educational Leadership

Course is designed to promote experiential learning, cultural understanding, educational research and leadership experience through service learning. Students will identify, analyze, develop and implement a plan to address a socially significant need in an educational community (locally, nationally and internationally). Course may provide an optional faculty-led travel component designed to accomplish learning objectives of the course. Students participating in the travel option will be charged an additional course fee not to exceed the actual cost of travel, including but not limited to transportation, lodging and food. Course fee variable. Spring, summer I.
