ANSC 7407 - Research Techniques in Animal Nutrition (HAZ)

Prerequisite: ANSC 3310 or ANSC 3375 or equivalent. Sampling techniques and preparation of samples for analysis in nutrition experiments. Laboratory techniques for measurement of proximate components of feeds, detergent fiber components, and in vitro and in vivo digestibility. Use of spectroscopy and chromatography in analysis of biological samples. Evaluation of experimental designs commonly used in nutrition. Course fee, $6.
