LEAD 3101 - Theoretical Foundations of Leadership 1 1 0 Prerequisite: Approval of LEAD Director. Examines classic theories and models of leadership. Students will analyze various perspectives, assumptions, strengths, and weaknesses of leadership theories. Along with learning leadership theory students come to understand their role in leadership on campus, in the community, and the larger society. Although the course is focused on learning and understanding leadership theory, students will have an opportunity to develop skills necessary to be effective in the leadership process, and practice these skills within their community.
