Introduction to botanical principles, including structure and functions of leaves, stems, roots, seeds and fruits. Basic cell chemistry, plant and community ecology, taxonomy, reproduction, natural selection and plant biotechnology with laboratory investigations and observations of cells, leaves, stems, roots, plant physiology and ecology. Lab fee $15.
