BIOL 4440 - Advanced Physiology

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 2401 and BIOL 2402 or BIOL 3440 or permission of instructor. Detailed focus on human anatomy and physiology, with particular emphasis on the physiology of muscle and nervous tissue, as well as the cardiac, endocrine and gastrointestinal systems. Current methods and findings published in the relevant primary literature will also be explored. Use of basic physiological instruments and techniques in laboratory periods. Lab fee $15.
