Broadcast Journalism majors may not count more than 43 hours of MCOM courses towards the degree.
All students will compile and submit an e-portfolio that demonstrates the student's competencies in at least six of the following eight categories:
Mass Media Production
Professional and Civic Responsibilities
The e-portfolio must be submitted for review early in the semester the student plans to graduate. The student must receive a score of 3 or higher on each section of the portfolio to be certified for graduation.
