CHEM 2533 - Elementary Organic Chemistry

Prerequisite: CHEM 1412  Fundamental concepts of organic chemistry, including bonding and electronic structure, nomenclature, stereochemistry and reactions and preparations of organic compounds. Not open to students who have credit in CHEM 2523 . Selected experiments in organic chemistry, including techniques of crystallization, distillation, extraction and organic reactions. Course fee $25. Fall and spring of even years, fall of odd years.
