Prerequisite(s): BIOL 3424  or BIOL 4510  or consent of instructor. Fundamentals of the theory, techniques and applications of conservation ecology as it relates to maintenance of biodiversity and sustainable management of the biosphere. Includes elements from population genetics; biogeography; habitat management, public policy and design strategies for natural preserves.
